Happy Holidays from Yoni Gordon and His Goods - PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING $5 TO OXFAM

Have you noticed that there are no songs for New Year's Eve?  There are plenty of Christmas tunes, a few Hanukkah songs.  But when it comes to New Year's Eve, all you got is Auld Lang Syne, and no one actually knows the words to that tune.  UNTIL NOW!!!

New Years Eve by therealyonigordon

We are proud to present to you, NEW YEAR'S EVE.  The song!  The Goods and I went into the studio back in early November to lay down our parts.  We then sent the song off to our friends The Diamond Mines, Lauren Balthrop, Annie Nero and Josh Kaufman, Steve Mossberg and Joe DeGeorge(who you may know from Harry and the Potters).  We asked them to throw down whatever they felt was missing from the tune.   They took a nice melody and made it sound HUGE!!!

Country for the Timid Tour is a WRAP

Saturday was the last official Country for the Timid show.  For now at least.  The last month or so was great!  Better than I could have hoped for and I want to thank everyone who made these shows work.  Whether you helped book it, let me crash on your floor, gave me food, donated a couple of bucks, bought a record, lent me your ears, sang along, helped me raise or level a 20x10' tent, or any combination of the above.  THANK YOU!!!

There are going to be more solo shows to come in 2011, more shows with the Goods, and maybe a surprise or two heading your way for the holidays(wink wink).  So keep checking back with me.

In the meantime, join the Yoni Gordon facebook page, which is going to be the most efficient way to get you all the news that's fit to print.
All the things that tour requires.
